While the iPad Pro coming with the M2 chipset and the concerns about the device capability with the wireless charging tech are not new, the mini-LED display is. So we can hope for all the iPad Pro models, including the 11-inch one, to come with the mini-LED display. Last year, Apple had made the mini-LED screen for the bigger, 12.9-inch version of the iPad Pro only, with the 11-inch one being shipped with an LCD display. The advantage of mini LEDs over LCD is that it is able to produce deeper blacks and has better contrast, which makes it a coveted tablet for content creators. Also, since the lower-priced models are also expected to get mini-LED, it gives a better option when compared to last year’s model with the LCD display.
Apple is said to be prepping up to launch the widest array of new hardware products in its history this fall. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the Cupertino-based company is working on four new iPhones, a low-end MacBook Pro, an updated iMac, the new Mac Pro, a revamped MacBook Air, an AirPods Pro upgrade, three Apple Watches, a low-end iPad and iPad Pros.
