iPhone 14 Pro vs 14 Pro Max vs S22 Ultra vs Pixel 7 vs Pixel 7 Pro vs Pixel 6 Pro battery drain test

Folks at PhoneArena did a battery drain test of the Google Pixel 7 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Google Pixel 7, and Google Pixel 6 Pro – and posted it on their YouTube channel. The test includes two rounds: Internet browsing and YouTube video playback.

In the browsing test, the iPhone 14 Pro Max comes out on top with 19 hours and 5 minutes, followed by – surprisingly, the one with the lowest battery of all – the iPhone 14 Pro with 16 hours and 18 minutes. Next, the Pixel 7 duo comes out with 14 hours and 19 minutes on the Pixel 7 Pro and 13 hours and 56 minutes on the standard Pixel 7. The Galaxy S22 Ultra and Pixel 6 Pro gave each other tough competition. The former lasted 13 hours and 17 minutes, while the latter delivered 13 hours and 13 minutes of battery life.

Things are entirely different in the YouTube video playback test. While the iPhone 14 Pro Max still dominates others with a whopping 11 hours, the Pixel 7 Pro overtakes the iPhone 14 Pro in this test, yet very far from iPhone 14 Pro Max with 9 hours and 39 minutes. In this test, the competition shifted to the iPhone 14 Pro, Pixel 7, and Pixel 6 Pro. The iPhone 14 Pro delivered 9 hours and 14 minutes, and the Pixel 7 was just a minute behind the iPhone 14 Pro with 9 hours and 14 minutes on the clock. The Pixel 6 Pro wasn’t too far behind; it lasted 9 hours and 10 minutes. The S22 Ultra thought only lasted 7 hours and 27 minutes in this battery drain test.
