iPhone users can now download iOS 15.3.1 update. Apple has rolled out the latest update and it is now available for all users across the world. It is a minor update but does fix certain issues that were reported by some iPhone users.

How to download the latest iOS update

To download the latest iOS update, here’s what you need to do. Simply go to the Settings app, then select General, and then tap on Software Update. The update will start downloading once you follow these steps. Just to know that the build number for today’s update is 19D52. The update isn’t too heavy and is around 255MB.

What’s new with iOS 15.3.1

It’s a minor update and brings very few new features but gives security updates and fixes some bugs. According to Apple’s release notes, “iOS 15.3.1 provides important security updates for your iPhone and fixes an issue that may cause Braille displays to stop responding.”
iOS 15.3.1 might not be a major upgrade but Apple is expected to roll out iOS 15.4 which will bring a slew of new features. iOS 15.4 will allow iPhone users to unlock their device while wearing a mask — a feature that has been much awaited ever since the pandemic began. Apple hasn’t made it clear when the update will be rolled out. However, speculation is rife about Apple hosting an event in March 2022 where it will unveil the new iPhone SE and the iPad Air. Rumours also suggest that the iOS 15.4 update might just be made available soon after the iPhone SE event.
