iPhone SE 3 first live images surface online, but could be fake
In the Genius Bar podcast, Prosser showed the images of the iPhone SE on his iPad, hence the quality is not so impressive. Nonetheless, we can still see it resembles the iPhone SE. You can see the smartphone in black colour, with bezels above the display and a Touch ID button below it. The display panel appears quite grainy due to the video quality and the image being on an iPad, but the iPhone SE model name and iOS 15.2 software version are still discernible. They can be viewed in the video at the 45:35 mark.
iPhone 8 vs iPhone SE 2 logo placement
These are the first real-life images of the iPhone SE 3, although some are really not sure if they are legit. Why? According to certain reports, the placement of the Apple logo is slightly towards the top like the iPhone 8, and not in the middle like on the iPhone SE. The prototype of a 2022 model should have a newer design, with the Apple logo in the middle on the back panel.
Apple iPhone SE 3 specifications (expected)
The thick top and bottom bezels are expected to be retained. This means it should have a 4.7-inch display with a Touch ID sensor. Apple will compensate that with the latest A15 Bionic chipset that will offer flagship-level performance and 5G network on a budget. The iPhone SE 3 images show it will run on iOS 15.2 out of the box and may have multiple storage options. It could have a single rear camera sensor on the back but the performance of the same could see an improvement over the predecessor.
iPhone SE 3 is supposed to be Apple’s budget offering and hence design trade-off is pretty much expected. 91mobiles had exclusively revealed the Cupertino giant had imported the iPhone SE 3 to India for testing and it apparently has a sticker price of $300 (Rs 23,000), which should make it the most affordable 5G offering from Apple. However, we believe the actual price when it launches should be slightly higher.
The Apple iPhone SE 3 could debut at the Spring event, but we should learn more details in the next few weeks.
