iQoo 10 renders surface ahead of the official announcement; may come with Dimensity 9000+ chipset

iQoo is expected to announce its next flagship series – the iQoo – soon in China. There are already rumours about iQoo’s upcoming smartphone series, that it would have two models – iQoo 10 and iQoo 10 Pro, and one of them would be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Also, it might come with Vivo’s yet-to-be-announced 200W charging technology. Rumours suggest that the iQoo 10 series might be powered by the Dimensity 9000+ chipset.
As per the notable tipster Digital Chat Station, the company is testing an iQoo 10 series smartphone with the Dimensity 9000+ chipset. Last week, MediaTek announced the Dimensity 9000+ – an incremental upgrade to Dimensity 9000 chipset.
It is still unclear whether the said smartphone is the iQoo 10 Pro or the vanilla iQoo 10. However, there are high chances that the Dimensity 9000+ powered iQoo 10 models could be the vanilla one since the Pro model is expected to come with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Or it could be a third model like the SE one from the iQoo 9 series.
We also get a first look at the iQoo 10’s design through renders shared by tipster IceUniverse. The render shows two colour options – black and white – having a two-tone design. The black colour one comes with a textured design reminiscent of carbon fibre while the white one has a plain back. Further, there is a triple camera module and a “Gimbal Stabilization” branding.
We expect to know more about the iQoo 10 series in the coming weeks as the smartphone is rumoured to launch in July.
