iQOO 11 chipset, display specifications tipped: launch timeline

According to noted tipster Digital Chat Station, the iQOO 11 Pro will come with the SM8550 platform from Qualcomm, which is said to be the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The next generation of the Snapdragon 8 Gen flagship processor will reportedly be launched in mid-November. We can expect the iQOO 11 launch about three months post that.

The tipster also claimed that the iQOO 11 may come with the next-generation Samsung E6 AMOLED display with a hole-punch design. The leaker further hinted that the smartphone may have a 2K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 144Hz PWM dimming to reduce flicker.

iQOO had launched the iQOO 10 series in China back in June that included the iQOO 10 and the iQOO 10 Pro. Subsequently, less than a month later, the company launched the iQOO 9T 5G in India, which came with similar specifications to the iQOO 10 that was launched in China.
