iQoo 9 may come with 120-watt fast charging support – Times of India

Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo is set to expand its smartphone lineup soon. It is tipped to launch the iQoo 9 series consisting of iQoo 9 and iQoo 9 Pro. Of the two, iQoo 9 has allegedly appeared on the Chinese 3C listing website.
The smartphone was listed under model number V2171A and is tipped to come with 120watt fast charging support. iQoo 9 is rumoured to come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
iQoo 9 series will succeed the iQoo 8 series. The latter was launched in China in August this year. It consists of iQoo 8 and iQoo 8 Pro.
Not much is known about the iQoo 9 series. But it is said that both iQoo 9 and iQoo 9 Pro could be backed by a 4700mAh battery. The handsets may offer AMOLED display and may come with game-oriented features along with a gimbal camera mechanism.
iQoo launched its 7 series of smartphones in India earlier this year. As per a previous report, the company is going to give a miss to the iQoo 8 series and it said to directly launch the iQoo 9 series in the country. The Chinese smartphone maker is expected to launch the iQoo 9 series smartphone in February next year.
Meanwhile, iQoo has revealed its list of smartphones that will receive the Android 12 beta update. The smartphone maker said that all iQoo smartphones available in India will get the Android 12 beta version by December this year except for the iQoo 3 which will get the update by March next year. These will include iQOO 7, iQOO 7 Legend, iQOO Z3 and iQOO Z5.
