iQOO 9 series display specifications tipped: 6.78-inch, AMOLED screen, 2K resolution, and more | 91mobiles.com

iQOO 9 Pro will get a 2K display

The iQOO 9 Pro will have the same display as the iQOO 8 Pro, according to the tipster. It will feature a 6.78-inch curved edge AMOLED display with Quad HD+ resolution. On the other hand, the regular iQOO 9 might sport a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. Both phones are expected to have a Samsung E5 display with a punch-hole in the top centre part of the display. The panels will also have a 120Hz refresh rate, according to a recent report.

iQOO 9 series specifications (expected)

According to previous rumours, the iQOO 9 Pro might contain a 4,700mAh battery. Both devices are also likely to come with 120W fast charging functionality as well. The iQOO 9 series will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The iQOO 9 Pro is also likely to come with a micro-gimbal PTZ camera, just like the iQOO 8 Pro. The presence of a micro-gimbal-assisted camera in the vanilla variant is yet to be verified. The iQOO 9 series is said to have a more efficient heat dissipation device, with some sort of cooling mechanism expected inside it.

For a better gaming experience, the iQOO 9 series is also expected to contain a second-generation independent display chip and dual-pressure shoulder buttons, just like the iQOO 3. Given the company’s recent introduction of Snapdragon 8-series iQOO Neo smartphones, the iQOO 9 range is expected to take some time to emerge. It is expected to be finalised by the end of January 2022 in China, with an official Indian launch, expected to happen in February.
