iQOO is steadily expanding its portfolio of devices, including the mid-range and flagship segments. The company had recently introduced the iQOO 7 series, followed by the iQOO Z3 in India. Now, it looks like the Vivo-sub brand is readying the foldable and rollable phones, joining the bandwagon of Google, Xiaomi, Samsung, and other OEMs. iQOO Roll, iQOO Fold, and iQOO Slide monikers have appeared in the China trademark site, as spotted by well-known tipster Mukul Sharma.

While these don’t show off the potential design or the hardware configuration just yet, the names do suggest the company is working on a rollable and sliding phone, in addition to a foldable phone. The company could use Vivo’s expertise in designing the phones. We should know more details about iQOO’s upcoming unique offerings in the days to come.
iQOO Z3 launched in India last week
In other news, iQOO Z3 was launched in India last week. The phone comes with a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, a waterdrop notch, HDR10+, and 96 percent NTSC Colour Gamut. The phone ships with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SoC coupled with Adreno 620 GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. The phone comes with 3GB virtual RAM too.
The iQOO Z3 runs Android 11-based iQOO UI custom skin on top and packs a 4,400mAh battery with 55W fast-charging support. As for cameras, the iQOO Z3 5G has a triple-camera setup on the back, with a 64MP (f/1.79 aperture) Samsung ISOCELL GW3 primary sensor with LED flash and EIS, an 8MP (f/2.2 aperture) ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4 aperture) depth sensor. It has a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
