iqoo: iQoo 9 series confirmed to launch in India soon: Specs, features and more

Last month, iQoo launched its flagship iQoo 9 series smartphones in China. Now, the company has announced that the series will also be launched in India soon. The flagship series has already got a landing page on Amazon. The iQoo9 series has been teased by the company through an official Twitter post. The series consists of two devices – vanilla iQoo 9 and iQoo 9 Pro. However, numerous reports suggest that India will also get a third iQoo 9 SE smartphone as a part of the series. The device is said to be a rebranded iQoo Neo 5S that was recently unveiled in China.

As per the reports, the iQoo 9 series will be launched in India on February 23. The phones are rumoured to go on sale via Amazon from March 2. Here are the specifications of the iQoo 9 series smartphones available in China.

iQoo 9 specifications

iQoo 9 features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The Samsung E5 AMOLED display comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, the device is powered by the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

When it comes to camera, the iQoo 9 sports a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary lens with OIS (optical image stabilization), a 13MP wide-angle lens and 12MP portrait lens. For video calls and selfies, the smartphone houses a 16MP camera at the front. For security, it gets an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is backed by a 4,700mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.

iQoo 9 Pro features a curved 6.78-inch Quad-HD+ display with 3200 x 1400 pixels resolution. The Samsung E5 AMOLED display comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. Under the hood, the device is powered by the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
