iqoo: iQoo 9 series smartphone to launch in India soon: Availability details confirmed

NEW DELHI: iQoo is all set to launch its flagship smartphone series in India. The company is all set to launch the iQoo 9 series of smartphones in the country. Launched last year in China, the iQoo 9 series consist of three smartphones — iQoo 9, iQoo 9 Pro and iQoo 9SE. The company has now confirmed that the smartphones will be available online on the Amazon India website.

The Chinese smartphone maker is expected to launch the China variants of the smartphones in India. iQoo 9 Pro is the first smartphone of the company to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Along with this, the smartphone will also be the first of the company to come with a gimbal camera.

iQoo 9 specifications
iQoo 9 features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The Samsung E5 AMOLED display comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, the device is powered by the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

When it comes to the camera, the iQoo 9 sports a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary lens with OIS (optical image stabilization), a 13MP wide-angle lens and a 12MP portrait lens. For video calls and selfies, the smartphone houses a 16MP camera at the front. For security, it gets an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is backed by a 4700mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.

iQoo 9 Pro features a curved 6.78-inch Quad-HD+ display with 3200 x 1400 pixels resolution. The Samsung E5 AMOLED display comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. Under the hood, the device is powered by the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
