iQOO Neo 7 5G performance tests reveal it’s faster than iQOO Neo 6

iQOO Neo 7 5G AnTuTu Score and design renders leaked ahead of launch

The iQOO Neo 7 5G is the rebadged version of the iQOO Neo 7 SE 5G that was recently launched in China and will be the first smartphone in India to feature the new Dimensity 8200 chipset from MediaTek. The new SoC has scored 8,62,438 points on the AnTuTu test which is higher than its predecessor, the Dimensity 8100 SoC which had scored 7,10,269 points. The new Dimensity chipset has also triumphed over the Snapdragon 870 chipset from Qualcomm, which has secured a score of 7,28,976 points.

The processor is also rated to have a more sustained performance with the chipset being throttled 86 percent. The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC achieved this while posting a higher average GIPS compared to the Snapdragon 870 SoC. In comparison, the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC’s CPU throttled to 75 per cent of its max performance. In the 3D Mark Wild Life Extreme Stress Test, the Dimensity 8200 SoC secured a stability score of 99.4 per cent, which is higher than the 99 per cent that its predecessor had achieved. The gap widens further when the Dimensity 8200 SoC’s score is matched against the Snapdragon 870 chipset, which managed a score of 84.4 percent. The leaks also confirmed that the iQOO Neo 7 5G will now support the ‘Ultra’ frame rate on Call of Duty: Mobile, a point of interest for avid gamers.
