iQOO Z5x specifications appear on Geekbench, launch seems to be close

iQOO Z5x will be the newest entrant in the iQOO Z5 series and it could launch really soon. The phone was spotted on TENAA the other day with model number V2131A. The listing revealed a few key features of the phone as well as the design. Today, 91mobiles found the same model number on Geekbench. The benchmark website reveals key iQOO Z5x specifications, including the chipset, RAM, and software. While we don’t have a launch date yet, the phone’s appearance this week on TENAA and Geekbench suggests iQOO is ready to announce the phone soon.

According to the Geekbench listing, the iQOO Z5x is powered by the MediaTek MT6877V/ZA chip, which is the Dimensity 900 5G SoC. This backs past rumours, including a Google Play Console listing. The processor will be paired with 6GB of RAM, as per Geekbench. However, the TENAA certification revealed an 8GB RAM option in tow as well. Lastly, the phone runs on Android 11 out of the box. This is all we learn from Geekbench.

Recently, TENAA revealed that the iQOO Z5x measures 163.95 x 75.30 x 8.5mm and weighs just 169 grams, making it lightweight. The phone features a 6.58-inch FHD+ display, but it is unclear whether the phone supports a high refresh rate. The iQOO Z5x will come equipped with a dual rear camera system that includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP sensor. At the front, the phone gets an 8MP sensor.

iQOO Z5x price could be lower than the iQOO Z5’s given the hardware on offer. The latter was launched in India recently with a starting price of Rs 23,990. iQOO should reveal the iQOO Z5x launch date in China soon enough, but it seems unlikely that the phone will come to India. We would love to be wrong about this though.
