As per a tweet by reputed tipster Oneily Gadget, a new Google ad has been spotted that confirms March 21st as the India launch date for iQOO Z7. While the search term is not known, a screenshot posted by the Twitter account reveals an ad on Google Search – by iQOO’s e-commerce store – that says, “iQOO Z7 – Slay, Stream, Shoot, Repeat – Launching 21st March 2023”.
Furthermore, the screenshot reveals that the phone will launch with “fully loaded features.” iQOO is also expected to have certain exchange offers and bank cashback at launch. And, users will be able to register to be notified. 91mobiles was not able to independently verify this specific ad, as the search query does not display the date of launch anymore. 91mobiles Hindi was notably the first one to report that the iQOO Z7 would launch sometime in March this year.
To recall, iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya took to social media last month to share the first-ever teaser for its upcoming iQOO Z7 launch. While not much has been revealed in this teaser, the silhouette clearly shows a massive vertical dual camera setup at the back, with dual LED flash. This will include a 50MP primary sensor with OIS (optical image stabilisation) support. Plus, the image shows a possible Teal colour option. Other than that, we have no information on the other specifications of this smartphone. There was a report that suggested that the upcoming iQOO Z7 series would come with a standard Z7 5G and a premium Z7 Pro 5G.
