iQOO Z9s series roundup: India launch date, specifications, expected pricing and more

The iQOO Z9s series India launch is taking place in India next week. The new smartphone series will include two phones: iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro. Ahead of the launch, iQOO has been revealing key details about the two phones including their design, display, chipset, and other features. Since the iQOO Z9s series India launch is just around the corner, we’ve gathered all the information about the upcoming phones.

iQOO Z9s series India launch date 

The iQOO Z9s series is launching in India on August 21st. The smartphones are confirmed to go on sale via Amazon but they should be available through other platforms as well. The iQOO Z9s series launch is expected to be livestreamed. 

iQOO Z9s series India pricing

The iQOO Z9s series is expected to start under Rs 25,000 in India. The regular iQOO Z9s could launch at a starting price of Rs 19,999. This means that the starting price of the iQOO Z9s Pro will most likely be just below Rs 25,000. Both phones are expected to launch in multiple variants. 

iQOO Z9s series design, colour options

Interestingly, the iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro have different designs. The iQOO Z9s has a vertically aligned rear camera module with an LED flash on the side and a camera ring just below the sensors. The smartphone is confirmed to launch in Onyx Green and Titanium Matte colours. The iQOO Z9s Pro has a squircle camera module similar to the flagship iQOO 12 series. The smartphone has a dual-camera setup with a camera ring. It will be available in Luxe Marble and Flamboyant Orange (vegan leather back) colours.

iQOO Z9s

The iQOO Z9s is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. It has a slim build measuring 0.749cm. The smartphone has a 120Hz 3D curved AMOLED display, an IP64 dust and water resistance, and a 5,500mAh battery. iQOO Z9s is also confirmed to feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 OIS primary camera and a 2MP portrait camera. Its features include 4K video OIS, AI Photo Enhance for blurry images, and AI Erase to remove unwanted objects from photos. 

iQOO Z9s Pro

As for the iQOO Z9s Pro, this handset will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with Adreno 720 GPU. The smartphone has the same 5,500mAh battery as the iQOO Z9s. It will come with 80W fast charging support. The iQOO Z9s Pro also gets the same 3D curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness. 

Like the iQOO Z9s, this one too has a 50MP Sony IMX882 OIS camera but with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. It will offer the same AI camera features and IP64 rating as well.
