Is Realme launching Note series to take on Xiaomi? | 91mobiles.com

Realme and Xiaomi have gone toe-to-toe on a number of products. Both the brands are known to launch affordable smartphones as well as numerous IoT devices in India, so comparisons are inevitable. Now, it looks like Realme is about to launch a new series of smartphones that is sure to turn a lot of heads. Realme could soon launch the Realme Note 9 and Realme Note 9 Prime smartphones in India. These could be the first-ever Note-series devices from the brand and the monikers are quite similar to Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 9 series. Here’s what we know about the Realme Note 9 and Realme Note 9 Prime.

Realme Note 9 and Realme Note 9 Prime spotted

Tipster Mukul Sharma spotted the Realme Note 9 and Realme Note 9 Prime monikers on an import database on Monday. We already knew that the company was working on the Realme 9 series but this is the first time we are seeing the word ‘Note’ attached to the upcoming phones. A couple of days ago, the Realme 9, Realme 9 Pro, Realme 9 Prime, and Realme 9A models were spotted by the tipster on the import database.

We wonder then whether the ‘Note’ in Realme Note 9 and Realme Note 9 Prime is a typo or if the brand really is planning to launch the Note series alongside the regular number series. As of now, the Realme Note 9 and Realme Note 9 Prime specifications are under wraps.

Back in June, the Realme 9 was spotted on the official Realme India website. Since then, we haven’t heard much about the phone so its specifications are a mystery. In addition to the Realme 9 and Note series, the company is also planning to launch the Realme Narzo 50A in India. We exclusive revealed the Narzo 50A design through press renders that showed off a dual-tone design, triple rear cameras, and a rear fingerprint sensor that is placed within the camera module.
