Jio 5G services now available in Pune: list of cities with Jio 5G

Reliance 5G services announced in Pune

Reliance Jio has launched its True 5G services in Pune. The company claims that it is the first in Pune to offer true 5G coverage. Starting November 23rd, Jio users in Pune will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer, which is a standard across other Jio 5G-supported cities in the country. After enrolling for the offer, Jio users in Pune will be able to experience Unlimited Data at up to 1 Gbps+ speeds for absolutely free.

Pune, being a student-heavy city and a leading IT hub, is easily a suitable candidate for the Indian telecom companies to expand their 5G services to. Plus, it is one of the largest automobile and manufacturing hubs in the country. Therefore, it made sense for Jio to make 5G available to the city. It is only a matter of time before Airtel did the same. According to Jio, its True 5G will be a true game changer for Punekars.

Commenting on the Jio 5G rollout in Pune, a Jio Spokesperson said, “Post the launch of Jio True 5G in 12 cities, large number of Jio users have enrolled into the Jio Welcome Offer, thereby helping Jio with customer and service feedback to create what will be the most advanced 5G network anywhere in the world. As expected, the data usage on Jio’s True 5G network is many-a-times higher than the current data consumed on Jio’s 4G network. What stands out is that this data experience is being delivered at break-neck speeds ranging anywhere between 500 Mbps to 1 Gbps and at extremely low latency that enables use-cases across various verticals that only a True 5G network can bring to life.”
