The Jio Phone Next smartphone has been priced in India at Rs 6,499. However, the company has announced easy EMI repayment options that let you buy the smartphone with a Rs 1,999 down payment and the rest through EMIs over 18 or 24 months.

Jio Phone Next plans, benefits

Jio has announced a few EMI plans for its newly-launched smartphone. These Jio Phone Next plans are divided across four tiers: Always-on, Large, XL, and XXL, and include the handset’s cost and the data costs. However, there’s a Rs 501 processing fee for EMI transactions.

The Always-on Jio Phone plan comes with Rs 300 and Rs 350 denominations for 24 months and 18 months respectively. It’s also bundled with 5GB data and 100 min/ month voice call benefits. The Large plan is priced at Rs 450 for the 24 months and Rs 500 for 18 months. Its benefits include 1.5GB data/ day along with unlimited voice calls to any network across the country.

The XL and XXL plans start at Rs 500 and Rs 550 respectively. They both come with unlimited voice calls; however, the Jio Phone Next XXL plan offers 2.5GB data/ day as opposed to 2GB on the XL plan.
