lava agni: Lava’s most-expensive smartphone with 64MP camera, Dimensity 810 SoC goes on sale – Times of India

Lava launched its first 5G-enabled smartphone Lava Agni in India earlier this month and now the device is available for purchase on Lava’s official website, Amazon and Flipkart. The smartphone is priced at Rs 19,999 and customers who pre-booked the smartphone before November 17 will get the device at Rs 17,999. The 5G smartphone is powered by a MediaTek processor and it sports a full HD+ display. Lava Agni 5G runs Android 11 and houses a 5000mAh battery with fast charging support.
Lava Agni 5G: Display and design
Lava Agni 5G features a 6.78-inch full HD+ display with 1080 x 2460 pixel resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The device gets a punch-hole cutout at front and narrow bezels. The dual SIM smartphone also comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Lava Agni 5G: Processor
Lava Agni 5G is powered by a 2.4GHz MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset paired with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and 8GB of RAM. The smartphone houses 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by adding a microSD card. Lava Agni 5G sports a 6.78-inch full HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate and 1080×2460 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.
Lava Agni 5G: Camera and battery
The Lava Agni 5G features a quad-rear camera setup with a 64MP primary lens with f/1.9 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP depth and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the device gets a 16MP camera at the front. The device is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.
Lava Agni 5G: Competition
The Lava Agni 5G will face competition from Realme 8 5G which is selling at Rs 15,499. The 5G-enabled smartphone from Realme is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and sports a full HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone sports a 48MP main camera and packs a 5000 mAh battery with fast charging support.
