Lava will officially announce the price of the upcoming Blaze 5G on November 7 | Digit

Lava claimed it would launch the most pocket-friendly 5G phone in India soon. Lava revealed the Lava Blaze 5G last month (October) during the Indian Mobile Congress 2022. Apart from the smartphone’s name, the company also announced the specifications; however, they kept the price details under wrap. But the wait is over, and Lava will officially announce the price of the upcoming flagship 5G smartphone on November 7.

A recent report suggested that the Blaze 5G would be available starting November 3, but that did not happen. However, a new tweet by the brand confirms that the company will confirm the price on November 7. The official teaser doesn’t mention anything about the Blaze 5, but it claims that this would be the most affordable 5G phone in the country and would cost RS. 10,000 for the base variant and Rs. 13,000 for the premium one. The official image posted by the company reveals that the phone will likely come in two color variants – blue and green. Finally, the company will list the smartphone on Amazon for sale.

Lava Blaze 5G Specifications and Features

The Lava Blaze 5G will sport a 6.5-inch LCD with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, up to 90Hz refresh rate, and a teardrop notch. In addition, it offers a 20:9 aspect ratio. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset will power the phone and will carry 4GB RAM and 3GB virtual RAM, and to provide extra storage capacity, it will equip a microSD card slot. The phone will run on Android 12 OS.

On the power front, the device packs a 5,000mAh battery. However, not much is known about the device’s charging capabilities. On the backside, the smartphone features a 50 PM triple camera setup, and the phone offers an 8 MP selfie camera for the front camera. In addition, the device carries a side-facing fingerprint sensor.

The Chinese smartphone OEMs have already introduced various 5G phones in the Indian market. However, Lava is the only Indian brand that launched a 5G phone in the country. Last year, Lava also announced the Lava AGNI 5G, which is powered by the Dimensity 810 chipset, and now it is all set to confirm the price of its second 5G phone, the Lava Blaze 5G.
