The Taiwanese chipmaker MediaTek launched the Dimensity 1080 chipset and confirmed that phones powered by the Dimensity 1080 SoC would be available in Q4 2022. The tipster Mukul Sharma was responsible for the leaks and he did not reveal the name of the phone that will feature the new chipset, but the post confirmed that Realme would launch the new D1080 chipset-powered phone. MediaTek launched the D1080 chipset after the Dimensity 920 from last year. The Realme 9 Pro+ and Narzo 50 Pro 5G came equipped with the D920 chipset. Therefore, it is likely that successor models of Realme, such as the Realme 10 Pro+ and Narzo 60 Pro 5G, may feature the Dimensity 1080 chipset.

The Realme 9 Pro+ was officially launched in February this year. Hence, the Realme 10 Pro+ may release around the same time in 2023. However, the company hasn’t confirmed that it will launch any new smartphone models powered by the new chipset in the forthcoming months.
The Chinese electronic manufacturer’s new smartphone Realme 10, RMX3630 model number, has been approved by certification platforms in four countries: India, Indonesia, Thailand, and Europe. In addition, the phone also appeared in the database of FCC Certification and Geekbench. The new model is near its official announcement and will feature the Helio G99 chipset. Reports have revealed that the Realme 10 series will debut later this month. Hence, if the upcoming Realme 10 series will use the new D1080 chipset will be announced shortly.
