Leave BT and Virgin will give you fast broadband at lowest ever price

BT and Sky have just been beaten on price and speed thanks to a new deal from Virgin Media. The UK Internet Service Provider has announced the launch of a big festive sale event which is offering new customers, who switch from a rival Internet Service Provider, the chance to get ultrafast speed at a vastly discounted rate. In fact, Virgin is boasting that its latest deal offers internet access at its lowest-ever price.

The new deals include the firm’s M350 fibre service which is able to whizz the web into homes at speeds in excess of 350Mbps. At that rapid rate, you’d be able to download a full HD movie in under two minutes – that’s over four times faster than the UK average.

Virgin’s M350 speeds usually cost £58 per month but right now you can receive this broadband access for just £27 – that’s a saving of over 50 percent.

If that’s not fast enough then there is also M500 Fibre (516Mbps speeds) for £33 per month – saving £29.

As a quick comparison, BT is currently charging its customers £22.99 for 500Mbps speeds but that low price only lasts for the first three months of the deal before going up to £45.99 per month.

Meanwhile, Sky has Ultrafast 145Mbps downloads for £35 per month or 500Mbps Ultrafast+ broadband for £45 which are both more expensive than Virgin is offering right now.

Along with just broadband, the Virgin Winter Sale event has also slashed the price of some TV plans including the Bigger Bundle which features over 190 channels plus broadband and free phone calls. This package usually costs £69 per month but new customers can grab this option for £39.

One final deal that’s definitely worth considering is the Ultimate Volt bundle.

Virgin has cut the cost of the premium package to £79 with it featuring over 230 channels, hyper-fast 1Gbps broadband, Netflix and even a SIM for your smartphone,
