Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga is getting a Galactic Edition: Here’s what’s special – Times of India

A Galactic Edition of Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga is launching on November 1, Warner Bros recently announced. Is there anything worth seeking out for a Star Wars fan in the Galactic Edition that the vanilla version does not already come with? Yes, if you want more characters. The Galactic Edition of the game brings 13 downloadable content packs along with six brand-new character packs. So, if you were thinking of purchasing the game, it would be wise to wait till November 1.
For those of you who have already purchased the game, you can still get all the new content the Galactic Edition brings but for a price. It’s not a free content update for those who already possess the game, sorry.

The Galactic Edition will get you the original game, plus the 13 character packs. Among these 13, seven have already been released and six will be entirely new. A total of 30 newly playable Star Wars characters are coming to the game, like Reva from Obi-Wan Kenobi, Cassian Andor from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (and Star Wars: Andor) and Captain Rex from Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
The Character Collection 2 brings characters from Star Wars TV shows The Clone Wars, Rebels, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Book of Boba Fett and the upcoming Andor as well as the Lego Star Wars Summer Vacation TV special.
Price
Starting November 1, the Galactic Edition can be purchased digitally on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch for $79.99, and on Windows PC for $69.99.
A Character Collection 1 and 2 bundle will be up for sale at $24.99. Each collection costs $14.99 and can be purchased separately. Should you want only a few individual characters, they can be purchased for $2.99.
