China-based laptop maker Lenovo has expanded its budget tablet portfolio with the launch of the new Lenovo Tab M9. This new device will succeed the Lenovo Tab M8 that was released in February 2020. Similar to its predecessor, the Lenovo Tab M9 also comes with an affordable price tag. Lenovo Tab M9: Price and availability
The company has confirmed that the Lenovo Tab M9 will ship with a price tag of 159 euros (nearly Rs 14,000) and will be made available for customers in Q2 2023. However, rumours suggest that Lenovo may start shipping the new tablet in February 2023. Lenovo hasn’t mentioned the regions where its latest tablet will be available but it is expected to be available in the US, Europe and other markets.
Lenovo Tab M9: Specs and features (confirmed)
Lenovo’s latest tablet sports a 9-inch IPS LCD screen that supports HD resolution. The Tab M9 also includes a Reading Mode that claims to simulate the colour of real book pages and is also easy on the eyes. The display of this tablet also boasts the TUV Rheinland eye care certification.

The device is 7.99mm thick and features a dual-tone metal casing that claims to offer a comfortable in-hand experience. The Tab M9 comes powered by MediaTek‘s Helio G80 octa-core processor backed with 128GB storage. Lenovo’s latest tablet also promises to offer up to 13 hours of video playback on a single charge and runs the Android 12 operating system.
For connectivity, the device supports Wi-Fi 5 and GPS. Meanwhile, for security, the tablet comes with a face-unlock feature. The Tab M9 ships with a clear case and a folio case. Also, the tablet comes equipped with a kickstand for hands-free usage and it weighs around 344 grams.
