Live streaming comes to Tumblr: Here’s how it works – Times of India

What is Livebox and how does it work?
Livebox is a Meetbox-operated platform that is a subsidiary group of ParshipMeet Group which is a dating app company. It lets users tip streamers and with the same token, Tumblr users will be able to pay creators using a virtual currency called ‘Diamonds’. The platform will also provide users with artificial intelligence (AI) and human-powered moderators while streaming.
The service is only available for users who have a primary Tumblr blog and no other side blogs under the same account.
If you are yet to sign up and create your Tumblr account, then follow the below-mentioned steps:
1. Open www.tumblr.com on the desktop/PC.
2. Enter the email address, password and a suitable username. .
Do note: The username entered must be unique and adhere to the username guidelines listed on the page. Either select a unique name or take suggestions from the options listed below.
3. After entering the email address, click on Sign up.
Now, age verification will appear.
1. In the How old are you field, type your age, and tick the box to agree to the Terms of Service.
Under the How old are you field, enter your age and check the box agreeing to the Terms of Service.
2. Click Next.
3. Type the text that appears in the image. Click Almost Done.
A gallery of blogs will appear on the screen.
4. Select five blogs and follow them by clicking on the Follow button located at the top right side corner of the screen.
If there are none, then use the search box to look for blogs from different topics.
1. After selecting five blogs, click on See it.
The dashboard will now appear which will show posts from the blogs you follow.
2. Now, verify the email address by entering your email address and open the email from Tumblr support and click on the link to verify your account.
