MediaTek Dimensity 900-powered iQOO Z5x to launch on October 20th
The iQOO Z5x has been in the works and is slated to join the iQOO Z5 that was earlier launched in China. iQOO has now officially confirmed the launch of the iQOO Z5x via its official Weibo account. The upcoming Z-series smartphone will be launching on October 20th in China. The iQOO Z5x will be joining the Z lineup and there have been tons of rumours about the phone for the past couple of weeks. The iQOO Z5x has undergone the 3C certification and also popped up on the Google Play Console followed by its latest appearance of Geekbench.

The iQOO Z5x will be debuting soon in China and here are some of the highlights of the phone that have made the headlines in the recent past. According to the iQOO Z5x’s TENAA certification, the upcoming device will feature a 6.58-inch TFT display. The chipset that will be powering the iQOO Z5x is said to be the 5G-ready Dimensity 900 SoC from the house of MediaTek. The MediaTek processor will be coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The iQOO Z5x will feature a dual-camera setup at the back that might house a 50MP main camera sensor accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, an 8MP camera will tackle selfie duties. The upcoming smartphone is expected to ship with a 4,880mAh battery capable of 44W fast charging. The device will measure 8.5mm in thickness while tipping the scales at 169 grams. The iQOO Z5x will run on Origin OS based on Android 11.
