Mi 11 Lite 4G reportedly discontinued in India; Mi 11 Lite 5G set to launch soon | 91mobiles.com

The Mi 11 Lite 4G was launched in India in June as the slimmest and lightest phone in 2021. In addition to offering a slim and light design, the phone also touts a 90Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 732G chipset, and 64MP triple cameras. However, one drawback to the Mi 11 Lite that launched in India was that it only supported 4G. Xiaomi did not launch the 5G version in June, but the company did confirm that the 5G version would launch when the 5G network rolls out. It seems Xiaomi has now quietly discontinued the Mi 11 Lite 4G in order to bring the Mi 11 Lite 5G model to the country.

As per tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Mi 11 Lite 4G has been discontinued in India as Xiaomi plans to launch the 5G model. Notably, 5G network rollout is yet to happen and it seems Xiaomi is willing to release the 5G phone earlier. The company is yet to confirm any of this, so it would be wise to take it with a pinch of salt. However, it seems the source is “1000%” confident that Mi 11 Lite 4G has been discontinued.
