Mi MIX 4 design revealed via promotional poster ahead of August 10th launch event | 91mobiles.com

The Mi MIX 4 design has been shown off, seemingly by Xiaomi itself, ahead of the flagship phone’s August 10th launch event in China. The design comes from a mall or shopping centre in China, where a promotional poster for the Mi MIX 4 has been put up to build up hype around the smartphone. The poster shows both the front and the back of the phone, with the lack of a notch to house the selfie camera being the most conspicuous element. The company had officially teased that the Mi MIX 4 will be the first commercial smartphone with an in-display selfie camera and a leaked image of the frame showed the sensor will be located in the middle of the screen.

Mi MIX 4 design

The Mi MIX 4 design revealed via the leaked poster shows a smartphone with an all-display front panel with curved edges, a design we have seen quite often in premium smartphones over the last few years. However, the absence of a notch and the narrow bezels on the sides gives the smartphone a more distinguished look as we see what most smartphones will look like in a couple of years. Considering the rumoured 6.67-inch display, we are looking at a large display that is uninterrupted by any other display element.

On the back, we can see the Mi MIX 4 will have three camera sensors – rumours point to a Samsung GN1s primary sensor with 50MP resolution that will clearly occupy a lot of space in the module. Then there will also be a 48MP ultra-wide sensor and a 48MP periscope lens for zoom, along with the LED flash as well as a few other sensors. The rest of the back panel looks quite barren except for the Xiaomi branding towards the bottom.

Mi MIX 4 specifications

According to leaks, the Mi MIX 4 specifications will include a 120Hz OLED display with Full-HD+ resolution, Snapdragon 888 or 888 Plus chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery. The battery is said to support 120W wired charging and 70W or 80W wireless charging. You can expect to see up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage up to 512GB.
