Micromax In 2B gets a price hike in India, now available at a starting price of Rs 8,499 – Times of India

Domestic consumer electronics brand Micromax has increased the price of its most recently launched budget smartphone — Micromax In 2B — in India. To recall, the Micromax In 2B was launched in July at Rs 7,999 onwards and in two storage models.
There has been no formal announcement from the company on this front, however, the new prices of both the models of the Micromax In 2B are reflecting on Flipkart, where the handset was officially selling. Besides Flipkart, the Micromax In 2B is supposed to be available on Micromax’s official website — Micromaxinfo.com — too. However, both the storage options of the smartphone are out of stock there.
Micromax In 2B new prices
The price of the base variant of the Micromax In 2B that offers 4GB RAM has been revised to Rs 8,499. This model was launched at Rs 7,999.
Similarly, the 6GB RAM variant of the Micromax In 2B that was launched at Rs 8,999 has now been revised to Rs 9,449.
Both storage models of the Micromax In 2B have become expensive by Rs 500.
Micromax In 2B specs
In terms of specs, the Micromax In 2B offers a 6.52-inch HD+ display with 89% screen-to-body ratio, and 20:9 aspect ratio. The handset comes powered by a UNISOC T610 SoC. Buyers get to choose from two storage variants — 4GB+64GB and 6GB+64GB. It has an additional microSD card storage support for up to 256GB.
For imaging duties, Micromax In 2B offers a dual camera setup that includes a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, the smartphone has a 5MP sensor on the front.
Backed by a 5000mAh battery, the Micromax In 2B has a claimed battery life of up to 15 hours of video streaming, and up to 50 hours of talk-time.
