Micromax IN 2B price in India has been hiked by Rs 500 just under a month after its launch. The handset was unveiled in the country on July 30th at a starting price of Rs 7,999 for the base model with 4GB+64GB storage. The handset comes as a successor to the Micromax IN 1B and ships with a Unisoc T610 SoC, 5000mAh battery, and a 13MP primary camera. The new price hike is currently reflecting on Flipkart. Micromax is the latest to join the list of brands that are silently increasing the prices of smartphones days after their launch.

Micromax IN 2B flaunts a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper, 720 X 1600 pixels resolution, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by the Unisoc T610 CPU paired with ARM Mali G52 GPU, up to 6GB RAM, and 64GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. It boots Android 11 OS with clean, stock UI out of the box and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. Moving to optics, the Micromax IN 2B has dual cameras at the back with a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor. It has a 5MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS.
Micromax IN Note 1 Pro appears on Geekbench
Separately, Micromax Note 1 Pro has appeared on Geekbench with the model number E7748. The same model had received BIS certification back in December 2020. The Geekbench listing, as spotted by MySmartPrice confirms the moniker and some key specifications as well. The phone will be powered by the MT6785, which is associated with the MediaTek G90 SoC. The Micromax IN Note 1 Pro should be priced at around Rs 15,000. The phone will run on Android 10 OS, which is a bummer and packs 4GB RAM, but there could be other options at launch. It has managed to score 519 points in the single-core test and 1,673 points in the multi-core test.
