Micromax IN 2C may be the smartphone from the Indian smartphone brand. The company is reportedly working on launching the new smartphone in the IN-series. Going by the name, it looks like that the phone will be a successor to Micromax IN 1 or Micromax IN 1B.
Micromax launched the made-in-India IN series in 2020. Micromax IN Note 1 and the Micromax IN 1B are debut phones under this series. The company expanded IN range with Micromax IN 1 launched earlier this year. Now latest reports suggest that Micromax IN 2C may hit the retail shelves in the coming weeks. The alleged handset appeared on Geekbech platform recently.
In fact, one report claims that the Micromax IN 2C will launch on July 15 in the country.
Micromax IN 2C likely features
There are no official leaks or teasers about the smartphone that reveal on confirm any specification. According to Geekbench listing, the Micromax IN 2C appears to be an budget phone. It will have Unisoc T610 processor which is an entry-level octa-core processor with a clock speed of 1.80GHz, as per the listing. The chipset will be paired with Mali-G52 GPU and 4GB RAM. There are no details on the storage options. The operating system, as per details on Geekbench, is Android 11 which means minimum base storage of 64GB.
There are so far no available details on the other specifications like camera, display and battery. However, one can expect an LCD panel with 4,000 mAh-plus battery capacity and triple or dual-camera primary set-up.
Micromax IN 2C likely price in India
Going by the Android OS version and processor details, as per the benchmark listing, it will be a budget device priced under Rs 10,000. It’s predecessors, Micromax IN 1 is priced at Rs 9,999 while Micromax IN 1B at Rs 7,999.
