Microsoft announces Surface hardware event: Expected devices, dates, how to watch and more – Times of India

Microsoft has scheduled a virtual press conference for Thursday, September 22, 2021 at 8:30pm IST. At the fall hardware event, the company is expected to announce the next-generation Surface devices.
A report by The Verge has also confirmed that the company has also started extending media invites which confirms that the company will talk about devices and Windows 11.
The company is expected to announce the successor of Surface Duo and a new Surface laptop.
Based on the leaks and rumours, the Surface Duo 2 is expected to be the showstopper of the upcoming Microsoft event.
Leaks have also suggested that Microsoft is planning to bring a major design revamp with Surface Duo 2. Hardware specs are supposed to get better with latest generation Snapdragon 888SoC, 5G support and more. The smartphone is also expected to feature an updated triple camera setup including a primary sensor, telephoto, ultra-wide sensor.

Apart from that the new and updated snipping tools, start menu, notification centre is also a part of the new operating system.
