Microsoft’s PC Game Pass set to arrive in 40 more countries – Times of India

Microsoft has announced the preview of its PC Game Pass subscription for 40 new countries across the world. This rollout means that the gaming service has now expanded into as many as 86 new countries across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
The preview will roll out in the Xbox Insider Hub app which provides early access to new Xbox gaming features via the Insider Program. As per the company, PC Game Pass will be available to ‘insiders’ in countries such as Qatar, Egypt, Croatia, Ukraine, and Paraguay, beginning from February 28. Right from the get-go, users will be able to play the huge catalogue of games available with the subscription.

Special launch price for preview users
As per the official announcement, those who download the Xbox Insider Hub app and register for the programme will be able to avail the PC Game Pass preview for a “special testing price” for the first month. Microsoft also confirmed that the preview rollout is still in progress and will reach the countries mentioned above over the “coming months.”
What PC Game Pass brings
PC Game Pass is the equivalent of Xbox Game Pass for PC gamers. It grants access to hundreds of different titles, ranging from action shooter games to sports games, at a single monthly price. The subscription’s lineup of games includes Xbox first-party franchises such as Halo and Gears of War as well as popular third-party games like Guardians of the Galaxy. Moreover, subscribers also get Xbox Game Studio titles on the day of their release.

The PC Game Pass includes a bundled EA Play membership that brings into the fold various games from major game publisher Electronic Arts. Some popular EA games available via PC Game Pass are FIFA 22, It Takes Two, The Sims 4, and Battlefield 2042.
PC Game Pass is currently priced at Rs 349 per month in India. New users can get the subscription for Rs 50 for the first month.
