Minecraft is getting a SpongeBob Square Pants DLC – Times of India

SpongeBob Square Pants and his friends are coming to Minecraft as part of a new DLC, Mojang announced. To get the players stoked for the event, Mojang has asked them to make SpongeBob Square Pants-themed builds and anything SpongeBob related and tag them on Twitter. Submissions are open till July 14.
Mojang said in a blog post: “Anything SpongeBob-related is fair game, from your own block by block rendition of the Krusty Krab, a recreation of the arena where SpongeBob performed “Sweet Victory”, or maybe just a giant jellyfish! Be creative and surprise us! Is your submission the best in Bikini Bottom? Tag your original works with #FeatureMeMinecraft on Twitter and we just might feature them right here on Minecraft.net! We’ll be deep sea diving through submissions from now until July 14.”

A new Minecraft game, Minecraft Legends, was recently announced at the Xbox and Bethesda showcase. It will be an action strategy game and will be developed by Mojang Studios and Blackbird Interactive. The game will be published by Xbox Game Studios.
According to the developers, the game will allow players to experience the Minecraft universe in “a fun and unique new way, as they lead their allies in heroic battles to defend the Overworld.” In the game, you’ll have to deal with the piglin invasion of the Overworld.
Minecraft Legends will support online campaign co-op and competitive multiplayer. It is set to come out in 2023 and will launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC. It will come on day one to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, and also to Xbox Cloud Gaming.
