Motorola’s new Moto E20 has seen a fresh serving of leaks that includes clear renders and key specifications. The new set of leaks come ahead of the Moto E20’s official launch. The design renders lend us a clear perspective over its looks and external hardware features. The leaks have been provided by well-known tipster Evan Blass who already dropped some renders earlier this month. This time around, however, Blass has disclosed some key Moto E20 specifications and more specific design details along with it. Motorola hasn’t yet confirmed the device’s launch officially. Perhaps, these designs suggest that a launch can be expected soon.
Moto E20 design and specifications
The rumoured device Moto E20 has gone through a series of leaks and now we know detailed information surrounding the device. Starting off with the design, the Moto E20 will feature a waterdrop style notch upfront and a textured back panel. The device will also feature the fingerprint sensor at the back, hidden under the Motorola logo. The back will also house an elongated and rounded cylindrical camera housing with a dual-camera setup and flash. The left-hand side of the phone will house the SIM slot while the right-hand side will host the buttons for volume control and power. At the bottom, the Moto E20 will get the charging port flanked on either side by a speaker grill and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The front will carry a 6.5-inch HD+ display, with a significant chin suggesting that it could be an IPS LCD panel. The Moto E20 will be powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor, details of which are still unknown. The processor will be paired to 2GB and 32GB of internal storage. Expandability of storage via an external microSD card has not yet been confirmed. On the optics front, the dual-camera setup at the back will consist of a 13MP main camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. The front camera duties will be handled by a 5MP sensor. The Moto E20 will be powered by a 4,000 mAh battery.
The Moto E20 has been tipped to be codenamed “Aruba” with a model number XT215-1. While prices and other launch details are still under wraps, an educated guess would suggest this device be in the lower budget segment.
