Moto Edge X30 is scheduled to launch on December 9th in China and it will be the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered flagship. It is speculated to debut in India as well but under a different moniker. The company has already confirmed some of the Moto Edge X30 specs, including a 60MP selfie snapper, a 5000mAh battery, 144Hz refresh rate display with HDR10 certification, and more. The company is expected to launch the Edge S30 on the same stage. Noted tipster Digital Chat Station has also tipped that the company is planning a introduce a mysterious under-screen camera phone. Now, Lenovo China general manager for the mobile division has revealed there will be Moto Edge X30 special edition featuring an under-display camera.

Chen Jin has said the Moto Edge X30 special edition will be the company’s first to come with an under-screen camera and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 platform, probably the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset. It is also confirmed the phone will have a 60MP snapper on the front for selfies. The top executive has shared the real-life render of the Edge X30 special edition and there is no punch-hole cutout. It offers a full-screen experience, with slim top and bottom bezels.

Moto Edge X30 specifications

Moto Edge X30 has a 6.67-inch OLED FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate, punch-hole cutout, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The phone will come with a 5000mAh battery and a 68W fast charging support. It is said to have dual 50MP sensors and a 2MP third sensor on the back. The handset is likely to boot Motorola’s My UX 3.0 OS based on Android 11 or 12. The Motorola Edge X30 is said to pack up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
