Moto G51 5G India launch officially teased by Motorola – Times of India

Motorola announced five smartphones for international markets last month. Out of those smartphones, the company launched the Moto G31 earlier this week and now the company is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in the country. Motorola India’s official Twitter handle has shared a small video teasing the launch of a 5G smartphone. Although the post does not reveal the smartphone’s model, it’s not difficult to identify that the device is Moto G51.
The Moto G51 5G was unveiled by Motorola in China in early November and later the company announced the smartphone for international markets. The device looks quite similar to the Motorola Moto G31 that is going on sale in India on December 6.
Moto G51 5G specification
The Motorola Moto G51 5G smartphone features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ LCD screen. The display has a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is the world’s first smartphone with the Snapdragon 480+ chipset under the hood. The device comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone runs on Android 11 out of the box. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
When it comes to camera, Moto G51 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup consisting of 50MP primary lens, 8MP ultra wide lens and 2MP macro lens. For selfie and video calls, the device sports a 13MP camera at the front.
The company is also reportedly planning to launch the Moto G200 smartphone in India. Moto G200 smartphone features a 6.8-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with 1080 X 2460 pixel resolution. The display is HDR10 certified and comes with 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device gets a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. In terms of camera, the Moto G200 sports a triple camera setup at the back with a 108MP primary lens, a 16MP ultra wide lens and a 2MP depth camera.
