Moto G51 is the company’s mid-range offering that originally debuted globally last month alongside the flagship Moto G200, Moto G31, Moto G71, and more. Motorola launched the Moto G31 in India last week and it looks like the Moto G51 is up next. 91mobiles recently reported on the Moto G51 price in India. Now, noted tipster Mukul Sharma claims the phone will launch in India on December 10th and will be the first in the country to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC and will come with support for 12 5G bands. However, Motorola is yet to reveal the launch date officially but if the information is true, we can expect an announcement pretty soon.

Moto G51 5G specifications

Moto G51 sports a 6.8-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, and punch-hole cutout. It is said to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chipset coupled with Adreno 619 GPU, 4GB LPDDR4x RAM, 64GB 2.1 storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 11 OS out of the box and has a 13MP (16MP in select markets) front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video chats. The phone has an IP52 rating for splash resistance.

The Moto G51 5G has a 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support. Connectivity features include 5G SA/ NSA, 4G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C charging. The phone measures 170 x 77 x 9 mm and weighs 208 grams and is equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, bottom-firing speakers and dual microphones. Moving to cameras, the phone has a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture.

Moto G51 5G price in India is said to be under Rs 20,000. We can speculate it could be around Rs 19,999 and will be sold in Indigo Blue and Bright Silver colour options.
