Moto G72 with 180MP camera to launch on October 3 | Digit

On October 3, the Moto G72 is set to launch in India. It features a 120Hz OLED screen, MTK Helio G99, and 108MP main camera. The g series device moto G71 was a 4G phone powered by MediaTek Helio G99 Soc compared to Snapdragon 695, so now the users can expect a 5G model.

The G series device features a 6nm 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor, Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 6GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W TurboPower 30 charging. For cameras, it features a 108MP rear camera + 2 unspecified auxiliary cameras with LED flash. The selfie camera is yet to be confirmed though. It also has Android 12, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos.

In front, it has a 10-bit FHD+ pOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 576Hz touch sampling rate, 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut, HDR10 support, and 1,300 nits peak brightness. It will also have an In-Display fingerprint scanner. It also has slim bezels and a punch-hole cutout.

Motorola claims that this is the first device in India to feature a 10-bit 120Hz pOLED screen in the segment. The device will come in two different colours- Meteorite Gray and Polar Blue. However, the price and availability of the device are still unclear. More information about the latest device is expected to be revealed on October 3. The device comes with a pretty typical Motorola design language with a square camera bump housing a triple-camera setup.
