Moto X40 specifications revealed via TENAA listing ahead of launch
The Moto X40 bears the model number XT2301-5 and should be rebranded as Moto Edge 40 Pro globally, including in India when it launches. However, we don’t have an exact timeline as to when the phones will debut.
Moto X40 specifications
The Moto X40 is said to pack three cameras, with a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12MP telephoto unit. The phone is said to draw power from a 5000mAh (4950mAh typical) battery with 68W fast charging support and is expected to boot Android 13 OS out of the box. The Moto X40 is said to measure 161.3×73.9×8.5mm and weigh 196 grams.
The phone is tipped to arrive in three configurations: 8GB/12GB/18GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage that might not be further expandable. That’s pretty much everything that is revealed from the TENAA listing regarding the Moto X40. Earlier rumours have claimed the handset will pack a 6.73-inch FHD+ display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. It is said to get a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. The Moto X40 is said to launch by the end of this year but the exact date isn’t clear at the moment.
