Given that the Moto G9 Play is already out and about, it isn’t very hard to guess the Motorola Defy specifications. Nonetheless, Evan Blass was nice enough to list it in its entirety. The smartphone runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It draws power from a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 20W fast charging.

The Motorola Defy will ship with a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel, which is interrupted by a waterdrop style notch that houses the phone’s 8MP selfie camera. At the back, we get a 48MP primary sensor a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The LED flash is also located inside the camera module. The iconic Motorola logo is surrounded by the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Moving on to what makes the Motorola Defy rugged, the smartphone comes with MIL-SPEC 810H certification, meaning that it can operate in extreme temperatures. It can also withstand toxic and corrosive environments and can survive a dunk in water for up to 35 minutes.
