Motorola Edge 20 specifications, design leaked: Snapdragon 778 SoC, side-mounter fingerprint sensor, and more | 91mobiles.com
The Motorola Edge 20 series is an upcoming line-up of mid-range smartphones from the brand. We don’t have an expected date for launch yet, but it should arrive in a couple of months. The line is said to consist of the Motorola Edge 20 Lite, Edge 20, and Edge 20 Pro. The phones are going to be the successors of last year’s Motorola Edge phones. Earlier this month, the Edge 20 and Edge 20 Pro made their way to TENAA and revealed some specifications as well as design. Now, we’ve got some CAD-based renders and specifications for the Motorola Edge 20, revealing what we can look forward to from the smartphone.
Motorola Edge 20 design and renders
The latest leak is courtesy of Pricebaba and @OnLeaks, who have published exclusive renders that show the Motorola Edge 20 from all angles. Looking at the renders, the phone seems to have a centre-aligned punch-hole display. The side bezels are narrow, but there seems to be a bit of bottom bezel. The volume and power buttons are on the right side of the phone. It also looks like the power button doubles as the fingerprint scanner.
Moving to the rear, we see a rectangular camera housing with three sensors. The LED flash is placed next to the third sensor. The bottom part of the phone has a SIM card tray, speaker grille, and a USB Type-C port.
Motorola Edge 20 specifications
Coming to the specifications, Motorola Edge 20 will reportedly come with a 6.7-inch display with FHD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 778G processor, which will be paired with 6GB and 8GB RAM options. As for storage, the buyers can expect to choose between 128GB and 256GB internal memory. The triple camera setup at the back will house a 108-megapixel primary camera alongside a 16-megapixel secondary sensor, and an 8-megapixel unit. The device will house a 4,000mAh battery. Details about charging speed and front camera aren’t known yet.
