Here are some of the important announcements that took place on the first day of MWC 2022.
OnePlus 10 Pro launch details revealed
OnePlus launched the OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone in China last year. The company has now announced that it will launch the smartphone in India by the End of March 2022. OnePlus 10 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and runs the Android 12 operating system.
Oppo 150W SuperVOOC flash charge
Oppo unveiled the 150W SuperVOOC flash charge charging technology at MWC 2022.
The company also announced that the 150W charging technology will debut on selected OnePlus smartphones scheduled to launch in Q2, 2022. Oppo said that fast charging technology can charge a 4,500 mAh battery up to 50% in just 5 minutes.
Realme GT 2 series
Realme launched its flagship Realme GT 2 series at MWC 2022. The smartphone series consist of Realme GT 2 Pro and Realme GT. The Realme GT 2 Pro is the world’s first smartphone to be designed with bio-based materials. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and it features a 6.7-inch OLED display. HMD Global has expanded the lineup of budget Nokia smartphones. The company has launched Nokia C2 2nd Edition, Nokia C21 and Nokia C21 Plus smartphones at MWC 2022. All the three smartphones run Android 11 Go Edition and come under the budget price segment.
Samsung expands Galaxy Book laptop range
Samsung launched a new range of its Galaxy Book laptops on the sidelines of MWC 2022. The company has launched Galaxy Book 2 Pro, Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 and Galaxy Book 2 360, Galaxy Book 2 Business and Galaxy Book 2. The new laptops come with a lightweight design and run on Windows 11 operating system.

Honor launched its all-new Magic 4 Pro smartphone series globally at MWC 2022. The series consists of two smartphones — Honor Magic 4 and Magic 4 Pro. Both the smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and run the Android 12 operating system. The smartphones come with a water and dust-resistant design and FHD+ display.
