Separately, the OnePlus 9 RT and Buds Z2 product pages have gone live on the company’s India website, suggesting an imminent launch. The handset is expected to launch in the country later this month and the TWS earbuds might tag along as well. The OnePlus 9 RT will arrive as a successor to the OnePlus 9R that launched alongside the OnePlus 9 series earlier this year. The OnePlus 9 RT launched in China back in October as a budget flagship offering.

OnePlus 9RT specifications

OnePlus 9RT sports a 6.62-inch E4 OLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate, 1300nits peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and 600Hz touch response. The phone runs on ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 in China but may come with OxygenOS in India but with a ColorOS code base.

The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. OnePlus 9RT has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and a 4,500mAh battery with Warp Charge 65T 65W fast charging.

It is equipped with a triple rear camera system. The setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera with OIS and EIS support, 16MP wide-angle lens, and a macro lens. There is a 16MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats.

Connectivity options include 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, and USB Type-C port, NFC, GPS and Bluetooth.
