Names of Google Pixel 6 colors leak

TL;DR

  • We’ve now seen a list of the alleged Google Pixel 6 colors.
  • Using official images from Google, we think we know which name matches which model.

For years now, Google’s color names have been very silly. Even recently, the Google Pixel 5 had a colorway called Sorta Sage (even though it was very clearly just mint green). It doesn’t look like Google is ready to abandon this tradition.

Normally, we’d need to use our imaginations to figure out what these colorway names would look like. Thankfully, though, Google has already given away a ton of information on the Pixel 6 series, so we can link these names up to their actual designs fairly easily.

Check out what we’ve got below.

Google Pixel 6 colors

Above are official images of the Google Pixel 6 series. The names of the Pixel 6 colorways, as suggested by M. Brandon Lee, are Kinda Coral, Sorta Seafoam, and Stormy Black. We are pretty sure those names match up to the colors above, from left to right.

Google Pixel 6 Pro colorways

As before, you can see official images of the Google Pixel 6 Pro series here. The leaked Google Pixel 6 colors for these models are Cloudy White, Sorta Sunny, and Stormy Black. We think they match up from left to right.

Obviously, these colorway names won’t make or break your decision to buy or not buy a Pixel 6. However, this advance knowledge might make the checkout process a bit faster!

Google will launch the Pixel 6 series on October 19, so we only have a little longer to wait.
