Amazon’s tablet range usually delivers plenty of value for money, while also giving you seamless access to the retail giant’s ecosystem of services and apps. Fortunately, Fire tablets have seen major price drops as part of Prime Day 2022, so there’s never been a better time to hop aboard the bandwagon.

Starting with the cheapest option, Amazon’s 2019 7-inch Fire tablet can now be had for just $29.99 ($20 off) as part of Prime Day. This isn’t a powerhouse by any measure at all, serving up 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, ads, and a 2MP camera on either side. It does come with ads though, but it might still be worth a look if you want a basic device for reading, email, and Alexa commands.

Looking for something with a bigger screen and a bit more oomph? Then Amazon is also offering its 2020 Fire HD 8 tablet for $44.99 ($45 off). This slate brings 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, USB-C connectivity, and a slightly faster chipset. The company also has the 2020 Fire HD 8 Plus model for $64.99 ($45 off), delivering 3GB of RAM and wireless charging for the extra cash. Both of these tablets come with ads for the price.

Finally, Amazon’s Fire HD 10 and 10 Plus tablets have also seen discounted prices for Prime Day. Starting with the regular model, the Fire HD 10 has a 1080p display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, USB-C support, and an improved rear camera. Expect to pay $74.99 for this model ($75 off). Willing to spend a bit more? Then the Fire HD 10 Plus is available for $104.99 ($75 off). It differs from the standard model by bringing 4GB of RAM, wireless charging, and a soft finish. Both of these deals are for the ad-supported models.
