Netflix has added this game for iPhones, Android – Times of India

Netflix has added a new game, ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge’, on iPhones and Android devices. Gamers will be able to play “with Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo or other familiar friends in this totally tubular ’80s-inspired beat them up”.
A modern take on the classic TMNT arcade games, Shredder’s Revenge was first released for PC and consoles last year. It includes pixel art, side-scrolling levels and allows up to six people to play at the same time. Those who wish to play the game must have an active Netflix subscription.
Android device and iPhones users in Times of India Tech team can access these games in their profiles.

Other games coming to Netflix
Last month, Netflix announced that it would add two games TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge and Vikings: Valhalla – based on its series of the same name – in Q1 2023. The company also said it would also launch Valiant Hearts: Coming Home, the sequel to the 2D WW1-set adventure game Valiant Hearts: The Great War.
This will be an exclusive launch on platform and is slated to launch on Netflix sometime in early 2023. As per a report by VentureBeat, Ubisoft also allegedly has an Assassin’s Creed title in development for Netflix.
Last month, Netflix added Annapurna’s Kentucky Route Zero and Twelve Minutes to the growing list of games on the platform. Subscribers can also play Too Hot to Handle: Love Is a Game, puzzle game Scriptic: Crime Stories and Solitaire.

Netflix started adding games to the platform in 2021, however, a majority of games on the streaming service were launched in 2022.
Netflix looking for gaming roles
Citing job listings, a report in November said that Netflix is reportedly working on a “brand-new AAA PC game.” At that time, the streaming giant was looking for a game director, art director and technical director to work on a “brand-new AAA PC game” at its Los Angeles Netflix Games Studio. There are other openings for producers, engineers and artists for the same project.
