New Apple iPad 2022 models go on first sale in India: Price, offers and other details – Times of India

Apple unveiled the new variants of iPad — the entry level iPad, an 11-inch iPad Pro and a 12.9-inch iPad Pro. The entry level iPad comes equipped with the A14 Bionic chipset while the Pro variants come powered by the latest M2 chipset. The devices are now available in India via Apple India Store and Amazon’s e-commerce platform.
Apple iPad (2022): Price and colour variants
The entry-level Apple iPad (2022) that only supports Wi-Fi starts at Rs 44,900 for the 64GB variant while the 256GB option is priced at Rs 59,900.
On the 0ther hand, the Wi-Fi+Cellular model is available at Rs 59,900 for 64GB storage variant while the 256GB model carries a price tag of Rs 74,900.
The new iPad can be purchased in four colour variants– Blue, Pink, Silver, and Yellow .
Apple iPad Pro (2022): Price and colour variants
iPad Pro 11-inch (2022) is priced at Rs 81,900 for the Wi-Fi variant while the Wi-Fi+Cellular variant costs Rs 96,900.
The latest iPad comes in two colour variants– Space Grey and Silver.
The Wi-Fi model of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2022) is priced at Rs 1,12,900 while the Wi-Fi+Cellular variant costs Rs 1,27,900.
Apple iPad (2022): Features specifications
The iPad (2022) boasts a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with 1640×2360 pixel resolution and 500 nits of brightness. The tablet comes powered by the Apple A14 Bionic chipset which is claimed to provide up to 20% better performance and 10% better graphics than its previous iterations.

The iPad sports a 12 MP front-facing sensor while the rear camera is now capable of recording 4K videos at 120fps. The device runs iPadOS 16 which comes with the Freeform productivity app and other features. The entry-level iPad (2022) supports Wi-Fi 6 and optional 5G cellular network connectivity.
Apple iPad Pro (2022): Features and specifications
iPad Pro (2022) boasts an 11-inch Liquid Retina display with 1688×2388 pixels resolution. On the other hand, the 12-inch iPad Pro (2022) features a Liquid Retina XDR mini-LED display with 2048×2732 pixel resolution. Both devices offer up to 120Hz refresh rate with ProMotion technology. The Pro variants are designed in a way where they can detect the Apple Pencil that hovers from up to 12mm above the screen. The latest Apple M2 chipset powers the iPad Pro (2022) models.
The Pro models come in– 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB storage variants.
Apple iPad Pro models come with Center Stage feature and sport a 12 MP ultra-wide angle front camera. The Pro models house a dual rear camera setup that includes — a 12 MP wide-angle camera and a 10 MP ultra-wide angle sensor. It also has a LiDAR scanner. The iPads are equipped with four speakers and five microphones. The Apple iPad Pro comes with a 20W USB Type-C power adapter.
