While this movie didn’t see any commercial release at the box office, an exclusive premiere at the Chicago South Asian Film Festival in September last year is enough to guarantee that this Zee5 original Hindi film means business. Taking inspiration from real-life events, Lost revolves around a young woman crime reporter who is fresh in her job and wants to take on the world, one editorial at a time. She starts working on the story of the mysterious disappearance of a theatre activist. However, the story has layers and reveals much more about values and integrity than she ever thought. 2022’s period comedy hit by Rohit Shetty is streaming on OTT in February. Considered the fifth instalment in the superhit Golmaal franchise, Cirkus is a remake of 1982’s Angoor, which itself is based on Shakespeare’s play The Comedy of Errors. While the box office numbers don’t have much to show for it, Cirkus is the perfect watch for movie fans who love Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh. The movie is crazy – it tells the story of two sets of identical twins who were estranged at birth but meet when they are adults. The movie is set in the Golmaal universe, possibly before the events of Golmaal Again. Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Varun Sharma are superb in supporting roles.
