Nokia’s £99 Android phone is back and way better than you might expect

If the thought of spending over £950 on a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 or over £1,000 on the latest Sony Xperia 5 sends a shiver down your spine then it might be worth a trip to Nokia’s online store. The famous Finnish smartphone firm, which is now owned by HMD Global, has just announced a big autumn sale with almost all of its feature-packed smartphones now slashed in price. Perhaps the biggest bargain of all is the firm’s C21 Plus model which is now back down to just £99.

This phone was originally launched at that low price back in May before an unwelcome cost hike made it more expensive to buy. Thankfully, the current sale makes the C21 Plus a bargain once again and there are not many devices that pack the same specs at such a low cost.

For your money, you get a device that includes an expansive 6.5-inch HD+ display. There’s also a big 4,000mAh battery and a toughened design that should help it last life in your pocket.

On the rear case, there’s a dual-lens camera which features HDR technology to help make images look richer and more detailed. You even get a fingerprint scanner and facial recognition for speedy screen unlocking.

Finally, the Nokia C21 Plus comes with Android 11 (Go edition) installed which has been designed to be more streamlined and less cluttered.

It’s not just this budget phone that has been reduced in Nokia’s sale with other phones also getting big price reductions.

Nokia’s premium XR20, which also comes bundled with some wireless earbuds, has been dropped to £369.99 – saving almost £50. This phone features a rugged design, toughened screen and full access to speedy 5G data speeds.

One of the devices that has received the biggest cut is the Nokia X20 which has now been reduced by over £78 in the Nokia sale.

This call maker gets a massive 6.67-inch screen, fast charging battery and a quick Qualcomm processor.

There’s also a quad rear camera which includes a main sensor along with wide-angle and macro lenses for the ultimate close-ups.

The Nokia X20 is available now for £289 which also includes a free pair of wireless earbuds.

Other phones in the big Nokia sale include the G11 (NOW £119.99), the G21 (NOW £139.99) and Nokia G50 (NOW £189).
